Chain-Link Rechargeable Table Lamp

A column of interlocking metal links, 41 cm tall and only 10.5 cm across, finished in matte black lacquer. The chain is structural rather than decorative, and the result is a lamp with a strong vertical line and a lot of visual weight for something that takes up almost no surface area.

The LED throws downward, pooling light on the table beneath rather than scattering it around the room. That suits a bedside, a desk corner, a bar or a restaurant table, where a contained pool of light is what you actually want after dark. A touch control on the body dims it, so it can drop to a very low glow without any visible switch interrupting the form.
