White Glass Mid-Century Pendant
An opal-white glass shade on a brass fitting, in the dome and tiered forms that defined mid-century pendant lighting. The milky glass is the key detail: it diffuses the bulb completely, so the shade glows evenly across its whole surface rather than showing a bright spot at the centre.
Three shapes are offered. A is a wide shallow dome at 30 cm across, good over a dining table where you want the light spread. B is deeper at 28 by 19 cm and throws a more contained pool, suiting a kitchen island or a breakfast bar. C is the widest at 32 cm with a low profile, which works well in a hallway or over a console.
The 1.5 m cord adjusts, so the drop can be set for the room; roughly 75 to 85 cm above a dining table is the usual guide. Brass accents warm the white glass and tie it to other metalwork in a kitchen. It takes an E27 bulb, not included, and is ceiling mounted and hard-wired, so have a qualified electrician fit it.
