Wabi-Sabi Resin Pendant Light

A small resin pendant, 18 cm tall and 12.5 cm wide, shaped with the slightly irregular, hand-formed quality that wabi-sabi design is built on. The surface is matte and chalky rather than glossy, so it absorbs light softly instead of reflecting it, which is what gives the piece its calm.

Two colours are offered. The soft white sits almost invisibly against a pale ceiling and reads purely as a glow; the earthy orange is warmer and more deliberate, working as a quiet accent above a table or a counter. Both throw a soft downward light suited to atmosphere rather than task work.

The 150 cm cable adjusts, so it can hang low over a bedside or higher in a dining space. Hung in a group of two or three at staggered heights it produces a far more considered effect than a single fitting. The E27 bulb is included, with a warm white or tricolour option, and it runs at 110 to 240 V. Ceiling mounted and hard-wired, so have a qualified electrician install it.
