Vanessa Candle Warmer Lamp

A pleated shade on a curved metal arm with wooden detailing, styled as a proper table lamp rather than a gadget. What it actually does is sit over a candle and melt it with heat from the bulb, releasing the fragrance without ever lighting the wick. No flame, no soot on the ceiling, no tunnelling down the middle of an expensive jar candle.

Because the heat is applied evenly across the whole surface of the wax, the scent throw tends to be stronger and more consistent than burning the candle would give, and the candle lasts considerably longer. The lamp doubles as a normal source of warm ambient light, so it earns its place on a side table whether or not there is a candle underneath it.

It stands 31 cm tall on a 21 by 11 cm base, takes candles up to 10 cm high, and comes in black or white with the LED bulb included. The bulb and the melted wax both get hot in use, so place it on a heat-tolerant surface away from curtains and soft furnishings, keep it out of reach of children and pets, and let it cool fully before moving the candle.
