ScandiArc Curved Metal Table Lamp

A single arched metal arm rising from a weighted disc base into a wide domed shade, 42.5 cm tall with a 28.5 cm shade. The arc is a Bauhaus device: it moves the light source out over whatever sits below rather than stacking it directly above the base, so a book or a keyboard gets lit without the lamp itself crowding the desk.

The dome is wide and deep enough to hide the bulb completely at seated height, which means no glare in the eyeline, and to push a broad, even pool of light downward. That makes it genuinely good for reading rather than only decorative, which is rarer in this style than it should be.

The build is iron with a chrome finish, and the 18 cm base gives it enough weight to hold the arc steady without needing to be bolted down. Four colours are offered: black, green, white and red. It takes an E27 bulb, not included, and runs on mains power. Wipe the chrome with a soft dry cloth to avoid water marks.
