Round Wooden Key Holder

A 30 cm wooden disc with hooks below and a slim shelf across the middle, which solves the two entryway problems at once: somewhere for the keys and somewhere for the things that come out of pockets. Round rather than rectangular, it reads as a piece of wall decor rather than a utility fitting, which is why it works in a hallway that people actually see.

The shelf is deep enough for a watch, a wallet, sunglasses, loose change or a small trailing plant, and the hooks below take keys, lanyards, a dog lead or a tote. At 12.4 cm deep it projects very little, so it will not catch a shoulder in a narrow hall.
