Nordic Wooden LED Desk Lamp

Wood and metal in a slim 45 cm profile, with a jointed arm and a shade that rotates on its mount. Between the two adjustments you can aim light down onto a page, across a desk, or up at the ceiling to bounce a softer wash back into the room, which is the trick for making a small desk lamp light a whole corner.

The LED is integrated and included, rated at 5 W, which sounds modest but is bright enough for reading and detailed work while staying cool to the touch. Choose warm white for a bedroom or a study you use in the evening, or cold white for a workspace where you want the light crisp and the colours accurate. Five body colours are offered: yellow, black, pink, green and white.

It plugs into the mains at 85 to 265 V and switches on the cord or body. The wood is real, so keep it out of direct sun and wipe it with a dry cloth rather than a damp one. Suited to a home office, a study desk, a bedside table or a reading corner where the lamp will be looked at as much as used.
