5W Black Aluminium LED Wall Light

Small, black and deliberately plain. At 5 W this is an accent fitting rather than a security light: enough to mark a doorway, wash a short section of wall or pick out a step, without lighting the whole garden or reflecting off a neighbour's window. Used in a run of three or four along a boundary wall it does far more than one bright lamp ever does. It is the quiet option.

The housing is aluminium with a matt black powder coat, which is the right combination outdoors because aluminium carries heat away from the LED and the coating resists corrosion and does not chip like paint on steel. It is waterproof rated for full exposure, so rain, frost and hose cleaning are all fine, and the integrated LED means there are no bulbs to replace.

Warm white suits brick, wood and anything domestic; cold white suits render, metal and modern frontages. Because the fitting is small, mounting height matters more than usual: too high and the light disappears, so keep it near what you want lit, and wipe the lens clear a couple of times a year. This is a mains-wired product and should be installed and connected by a qualified electrician with the supply isolated.
