Lumopattern Decorative Solar Garden Light
The point of this one is not the light itself but what it does to the wall and the ground around it. The metal body is pierced with a cut pattern, so the LED inside projects that pattern outwards, throwing a lace of shadow and light across paving, planting and fencing. During the day it reads as a piece of garden metalwork; after dark it draws.
It is solar, so there is no cable to bury and no electricity to pay for. The panel charges through daylight, a dusk sensor brings the lamp on by itself, and it switches off again at dawn without anyone touching anything. Black and white finishes are offered; black disappears into planting and lets the projected pattern do the work, while white stays visible as an object in its own right.
It works best where it has a surface to cast onto, a fence panel, a wall, a path or a patio, rather than standing in open lawn where the pattern has nowhere to land. Site the panel in direct daylight for several hours a day, keep it clear of leaves and dust, and expect shorter run times in midwinter when there is simply less light to collect.
