A slim metal column on a solid wood base, 33 cm tall, with the heat source housed in the head so it sits directly over a candle. The wax melts from the top down under gentle heat rather than burning, which releases the fragrance without smoke, soot or a flame in the room.
Melting the whole surface evenly is also what stops a candle tunnelling, so a jar burns right to the edges and lasts far longer than it would with a match. A built-in dimmer sets both the brightness and, with it, how quickly the wax releases, and the timing function shuts it off unattended. With no candle beneath it, the lamp works perfectly well as a soft bedside or desk light.
Two finishes are offered, black and white, both pairing the wood base with a matte metal body. It takes a GU10 bulb, not included, and plugs into standard mains at 110 to 240 V.
