Golden Birdlight Wall Sconce

Two gilded birds perched on a slim branch, with the light source tucked behind them so what you see on the wall is the silhouette rather than the bulb. At 38 cm tall and 28 cm wide it is a proper decorative piece, closer to a small wall sculpture that happens to give light than to a functional sconce with a motif attached.

The LED throws a warm, low glow upward and across the wall, which flatters textured plaster and paint and makes it a good choice above a sideboard, at a bedside, along a hallway or behind a bar. It is atmosphere lighting rather than reading light, so plan a lamp or downlight nearby if the room needs working brightness.
