Nordic Wood Trim LED Ceiling Light

A surface-mounted ceiling light combining an iron body, a wooden trim ring and an acrylic diffuser. The wood is what separates it from the many plain white discs on the market: it gives the fitting an edge and a material to catch light, so it reads as a deliberate choice rather than a builder's default.

The acrylic diffuser spreads the integrated LED evenly across the face, so there is no bright spot and no visible diodes at normal head height. Output scales with size, from 13 W in the smallest to 64 W in the largest, so a 23 cm fitting suits a hallway or a small bedroom while a 60 cm one lights a full living room.

Five sizes and six body colours are offered, from natural wood and black through to green, pink, blue and yellow, each available in warm, cold or neutral white. Surface mounted, it sits close to the ceiling, which suits flats and lower ceilings. It is hard-wired, so have a qualified electrician install it. Wipe the acrylic with a soft dry cloth.
