GardenGlow Outdoor Bollard Light

A slim matte black bollard, 5.4 cm across and available from 30 cm up to 80 cm tall, that stands in the ground rather than being staked loosely into it. The proportions are architectural rather than ornamental: a plain column with light escaping at the head, so it marks a route without drawing attention to the fitting itself.

The COB LED throws warm white light downward and outward across the ground immediately around it, which is the useful pattern for a path. You get clear footing and a defined edge to a border or a driveway without the glare of a floodlight or the sharp shadows that spotlights cast across a lawn.

Aluminium alloy and tempered glass, rated IP65, so it handles British rain, frost and summer sun without the seals giving up. It runs at AC 85 to 265 V and is mains wired, so it needs a proper outdoor circuit installed by a qualified electrician, not a plug into an extension lead. Use them in a run along a path or driveway, spaced evenly, for the best effect.
