Flying Book Pendant Ceiling Light
A pendant shaped as an open book caught mid-flight, pages spread, hung from a slim cord. It is unapologetically a talking point, and it lands best in rooms where the reference makes sense: a study, a reading corner, a bookshop-style cafe, or above a desk where somebody actually works.
The PVC shade diffuses the bulb well, so despite the sculptural shape the light itself is soft and usable rather than patchy. An iron frame holds the form rigid, which matters for a shape this asymmetric, and keeps the pages from sagging over time.
At 30 cm wide and 20 cm tall it is modest for a pendant, so it suits a smaller room or a low ceiling where a large fitting would loom. The 150 cm cord adjusts to set the drop. It takes one E26 bulb, not included, and runs at 110 to 240 V. Rated for dry indoor use only. Five colours: blue, yellow, pink, black and white. Hard-wired, so have an electrician install it.
