Crystal Prism Wall Sconce

Precision-cut crystal panels held in a stainless steel frame. The crystal is the working part rather than a decorative addition: the cut faces refract the light from the two G9 bulbs into fine lines and highlights, so the fitting throws a pattern onto the wall as well as producing a glow.

Two sizes are offered, 14 by 30 cm and 21 by 45 cm. The smaller suits a hallway, a bedside or a run along a corridor; the larger has enough presence to work either side of a fireplace or a large mirror, or as the single feature on an entrance wall. Both come in black or gold frames, which changes the character considerably, the gold warm and traditional, the black sharper and more contemporary.

Light output is deliberately soft, suited to a room of 10 to 15 square metres as accent or mood lighting rather than the main source. G9 bulbs are not included, so you choose the warmth. It is rated IP20 for dry indoor areas only and is wall mounted and hard-wired, so have a qualified electrician install it. Dust the crystal with a soft dry cloth.
